Lay-by

Love it now, pay for it in two parts. Reserve your SmartSwim swimsuit with a 50% deposit and pay the rest within 30 days. No interest, no credit checks.

How it works

  1. Message us on WhatsApp: +27 64 611 4133 with the item and size you want.
  2. Pay a 50% deposit by EFT. We reserve your item for you.
  3. Pay the remaining 50% within 30 days. You can pay earlier at any time.
  4. Once your lay-by is fully paid, we ship your order. Our standard delivery terms apply, including free delivery on orders of R1,000 and more.

Lay-by terms

  • Deposit: 50% of the full price. Balance: due within 30 days, in a maximum of 2 payments in total.
  • Your item is reserved for you and will not be sold to anyone else while your lay-by is active.
  • Lay-by is subject to stock availability at the time you pay your deposit.
  • Your order ships only after the full amount has been paid.
  • We will remind you on WhatsApp before your final payment is due.

Cancellation

  • You may cancel your lay-by at any time before it is fully paid. Please let us know in writing (WhatsApp or email).
  • A cancellation fee of 1% of the full price applies (for example, R12 on a R1,199 swimsuit). We refund the rest of the amount you have paid within 10 business days.
  • No cancellation fee applies if the lay-by cannot be completed because of the customer's death or hospitalisation.
  • If the balance is not paid within 60 business days after the due date, we may cancel the lay-by and refund the amount paid less the 1% cancellation fee.

Our lay-by terms follow section 62 of the Consumer Protection Act. Once your lay-by is paid and delivered, our standard returns and exchange policy applies.
